The equipments, which amount to a total of US$ 37,230, consist of a biochemistry analyzer for the hospital's laboratory, surgical instruments for the operating room, and an overhead projector and a slide projector for the conference room.
The project will be financed by Japan's Grassroots Grant Program, which has so far extended approximately US$ 5 Million through the Japanese Embassy since 1996 to support various development projects throughout Lebanon.
The Grassroots Grant Program provides financial assistance to municipalities, NGOs, hospitals, private schools, research institutes, and other non-profit organizations to implement flexible and timely development projects at the grassroots level
