That’s how she started her small business in the late 70’s.
People called her from everywhere, placed their orders and came to her to enjoy that special Ehdenian food, in the middle of God’s beautiful nature, overlooking the valleys and enjoying that special mountain scent.

And yes, she is still around! And she can sing too.

How to get there: conveniently located at the entrance of “Ehden Nature Reserve”. This tiny restaurant has grown, with the help of her son Alphonse Yammine, and is now called “La Reserve”.

Alphonse is planning to build few Log houses, with his own hands and entrepreneurship, for those who wish to extend their stay.

The Zghartian Dishes:
One of the main dishes is the Kebbeh which is formed by a blend
of minced meat and crashed wheat.
This blend is hit inside a carved stone called "the Jern" with a
light wooden
make hammer; this plate will be eaten either grilled or Baked.
Mejaddarah is another dish whish is formed by crashed wheat, hard grains
of beans, onion, and oil, baked in the oven.
TABBOULEH

4 to 6 persons
Preparation: 30 to 45 minutes
(Should be prepared just before service)Ingredients
2 spoons of refined burghol
1 bunch of mint
3 bunches of flat-leafed parsley
1 medium onion
2 medium firm tomatoes
1 lemon
6 spoons of olive oil
Salt
Pepper
Preparation
1- Carefully clean and dry the parsley and the mint.
2- Put the burghol in a salad bowl.
3- Thin out the leaves of the mint and pull the stalk off the parsley.
4- Very finely cut the parsley and the mint (must be hand made). Add the herbs and mix.
5- Finely cut the onion. Rub it in your hands with salt and pepper. Add it.
6- Dice the tomatoes and add them. Mix.
7- Add the lemon juice and the olive oil. Add salt. Mix.
8- Taste and adjust seasoning (lemon, oil, and salt) according to your taste

Baba ghanoush: roasted aubergine with sesame paste, lemon, etc.
